July 4th

So this time I was trying my hands at the July 4th fireworks. I read a few forums online that told me about what I had to be aware of; but when it came time to shooting pictures, everything went out of the window!


I usually like to take a picture of fireworks that has a "clean" explosion of fireworks. Take the picture above, for example. I waited till I thought the surrounding fireworks had fizzled out, and the only thing that remained was the "globe" of fire.




The same thing with the picture above. I wanted to just take the "Star", not the other fireworks with it. I feel when I look at fireworks picture that sometimes it destroys the image.

Take a look at the picture below. Now some may think it's okay, some like me may not like it...
